I lived 190 miles from Fukushima during said event and have since move back to the USA. My TE is post earthquake and assembled in Japan (invoice higher since for it too). They test them before overseas shipping and they are fine.

So what if microwaves and washing machines start when I enter rooms now? They treat cancer with radiation also...win win!

well almost all electrical appliances give off electromagnetic radiation... cooking with a microwave isnt as good as conventional means... A microwave has been known to strip many micro nutrients from the food items, as well lower the bio-availability of many proteins within said food items.... just the constant flow of electrons in your home wiring and gadgets gives off constant electromagnetic radiation... Its no wonder generations since the 50's have been plagued with escalating percentages of cancer and disease....

In my business, we thoroughly studied the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster and looked at our own status wrt the Japanese operating experience. If you've got real questions, I'll answer them.

But first you have to protect yourself. An aluminium or tin foil hat is best. Make it 3-ply or more. The front has to come down to just below your eyebrows, the sides to below your ears and the back should have a tail that covers your spine down to your coccyx.

If a friend helps you make the hat, don't let him play with your coccyx.

This morning I walked out to my 4runner. And to my amazement, all I could find was a gigantic hole in the ground. Then I happen to noticed a left and right side mirror sitting on the ground. One each side of the hole.

I have been wearing a tin foil hat for years, not for radiation but to block communications from a group of ET's on Mars. On a positive note I get XM radio better than ever! Glad to know I will have no radiation fears too.

I laugh at all this speculation and whatnot.

What do you guys, or anyone for that matter, think you would do with a Geiger counter? If you even had an audible, or pick up anything on the meter, how would you even interpret the readings? Anyone know counts above background level aside from those in the business? People are messing with things they don't understand and freaking everyone else out. Anyone know what KI tablets do? or you want to just go buy like everyone else? Sorry for the rant.

Aside from the guys in direct contact with the plant, no one has to worry about radiation. Particulate contamination, if any on our vehicles, would have washed off and down the drain. Go fly on a plane, you'd get more exposure that way.
