I think this place really does, but you have to keep in mind you are new to it. I can tell you of several instances/individuals I have made personal connections with and if/when out in their neck of the woods I know we would get a beer. Heck I just had a member give me their old Satoshi grille for free, because they were driving through my state. Had another send me LED tail lights again for free. I meet up with a local Kansan whenever work brings him up here. Just give it time and I'm sure you will eventually get in on some local meet ups as we do up here in the midwest.

No one ever wants to do meet ups in Central Oregon. It almost hurts my feelings if I still had them.

It is completely obvious that this dude is the same dude. I never had major beef with him but he definitely believes our forum is full of "a lot of total idiots" who are wrong about many things. The biggest issue has always been (what I perceive) is his belief that one can simply google/apple search their way into an answer then lecture others about how its done.
