having fun

Hello everyone, i bought this 08 in 09. It was bought to replace my 04 that somebody decided they wanted it more than me. I love these runners as what there capabilities can do and simply, a vehicle I can havin fun with. I didn't buy it to look pretty going over the summit, I have definitly gave it some beauty scares on it on some adventures and decided if I continue doing this I better do some MODS to it or it won't make it anymore HAVINFUN.

As you can see been to a few places and been on adventures I shouldn't have tried and back out of before it go to late.

I already had a slight lift to it before I found this site, and had put it on in 09.

I have always had the cb set up, right after I have purchased in 09, as the antenna is present in pictures above.
I wasn't sure where to install it, so it went into the back magazine holder behind passanger seat,

Things like this tend to happen when you get to many days off from work. And I removed the rear badges also that are seen in these photos.

I took a look at some other mods others have done and gave the fog lights mod a spin also. Never liked only being able to use them when low beams only.

Keep tuned in, I have some other things to put up. Just getting to tired now and i don't know how to type with more than one finger.

Yes , your correct, been here for a few years, I mean a few decades. It was one for the 4runner photo game. They made it to easy for me.

Haha. I thought it was! The fact that you've been on Fordyce trail was a hint as well :high5:

Continueing

As stated before, I started with a spacer kit for a lift in 09,not taking on to many off road challenges. With the lift and more exsploring and greater challenges came into view, changes needed to be done.

I started with this , and now it's gone.

I added this modified monroe matic coilover shock to the rear and left the rear spacer kit in. It works for me for now and holds well for the towing I sometimes do. Alittle stiffer, but, still comefy.

I have change the front one weekend to 885's and billys for future projects.
And the following weekend the uca.

Still working on it.

I really had time for a change, ( might have been being bored, not sure ) to do some painting and clear coating. These are a 2nd set of rims from when I had my previous 04. I have always used off road m/t's on them.

I decided to take off the 30.6" m/t off as the were about 7yrs old on them, still half life of tread though, started to get the surface cracks showing.

I have installed some RCI skids on also. I know worthless without pictures.
More things will be in the makes. I need to slow down for now, I need to go to work and stop playing.
