The police department has a program here that allows officers with so many years of service to use their personal vehicle for work. There is a list of approved vehicles and 4Runner is extremely popular. They also sometimes mount a very slim light on the roof and you can hardly tell its them until they're real close.

Hmm, maybe that's why I get double looks from cars in front of me. They think I'm a cop. Lol.

Last time I was out there, I was up on the North Shore and there was some cop screaming down the road west of Haleiwa (I know I spelled that wrong) running code in his cobra mustang. I hear his exhaust and supercharger before I heard the sirens
