Hazard switch part #?

I know this is unlikely but, any chance at all that there might have been a mix up with the plugs behind the dash and you're actually trying to plug in the wrong one?

I noticed you said you are trying to repair break-in damages, so I was not sure to what extend you had to try and piece everything back to get her.

Oh and if you are going to try to de-pin and re-pin, a small paper clip with the tip cut to a point using some wire clippers comes in real handy for de-pinning it.

Good luck!
Faster then an Antman!

Winner ,winner chicken dinner!

You are correct eddiebx in that he has the wrong connector that he is trying to connect. Good job!Case Closed!!
Just took mine apart. You have the wrong connector,it's a darker gray 4 pin connector and has a plastic side attachment to the stereo.....

Looking further into this and they might have stole that gray connector, along with the stereo, that is supposed to connect the hazards as it was possibly attached to it.:cry2:

The bad news is I can't find a part number for the connector and wire harness in the parts manuals. Maybe some other manual gurus double check for the connectors if you know what I'm talking about.

Just as a reminder, I was the one who suggested he post photos..etc just for the reasons/results that occurred......ok, ok, yea, I really was the one who invented the internet.......be safe.

Two guys take apart their trucks to help out, where else but T4R does that happen?

Simply Awesome!!

so.. 3 orders later, dealership is STILL sending the button, but not cable.

do you guys have a link or anything for the cable? I can't seem to find one..

Old thread but similar problem I have now. The difference being I can't find my hazard light cable! Does anyone know where the cable originates from so I can trace it back? I can't find that grey cable anywhere! Am I missing something obvious?

Bumping this old thread.... I installed an aftermarket head unit and am having the same problem with not being able to find the harness for the hazard lights. Did you ever figure it out?
