I'm almost certain that the dreaded 4th Gen V6 head gasket failure is afflicting my 4Runner. Anyone had a head gasket repair done in the Sacramento Area that can recommend a shop. Independent and reasonable rates preferred, but if you had good experience with one of the dealers let me know that too.

I highly recommend All Automotive Service in Citrus Heights: https://www.yelp.com/biz/all-automotive-service-citrus-heights. Gardiner used to be a Toyota tech, and was one of their main guys who installed superchargers from the dealer way back when. He showed me where he installed the supercharger on mine way back at mile 0 ha!
He does an amazing job and has really good attention to detail. He installed the headers on my 4Runner and even made custom brackets & painted them before installing so they'd look stock. Top notch.
