Head light aiming projection

I just need to know when adjusting bolt A do to loosen or tighten to aim downward?

Also, bolt b which direction does tightening or loosening move the lamp?

i remember if turning clockwise on the bolt itself makes it go down, and counter makes it go up. just back up 25ft on a flat parkin lot, and have the lower step of the cutoff 2.5 - 3 inches down from the main height of the headlight, must be directly center of the projector. so lets say the height is 35 then you will mark the wall at 35 - 2.5 to3 and get like 32.5 or 32 inches, and u have the lower step at that.

riceandpho is right I recently re-aimed all my lights, for the headlights, right (tighter) lowers them. For the fog lights right (tighter) also lowers them.
