Head unit advice

Hey guys I'm in the market for a new head unit and i was hoping some people could give me some advice/ opinions on the subject. I want to either get a head unit with gps or to get a separate gps and a new head unit. I dont necessarily need bluetooth, i just think it would be cool to have. these are the three head units with navigation that i have found and like. What are your opinions? Would you rather have a seperate gps or have it integrated with the radio? I would also be worried about having it stolen but then again anything can get stolen...

does that one have a removable face plate? it looks like it would, but it doesn't say anything about it.

i saw that one actually. the only thing is i'm still a big fan of actual buttons. That's why i like these a little more, but thanks for your input. I'll have to take a second look.

I have this one. AVH-P4200DVD

It's badass. Fantastic screen response and iPod integration (the two major factors for me) and it does have a row of hard-buttons on the bottom for volume, track, mute, source, eject, menu and screen toggle. It's great.

I just got this same unit, the 4200DVD. So far it love it! As far as the Nav addition, I was told by shop that did my install and judging from my research that the Nav add on for these isn't the best for the price. I was most interested in a double-din with rear USB for iPod control. Depends on what's most important to you as always.

I have the Kenwood DDX616 (bluetooth and DVD) that can have garmin gps added into it. I use a garmin nuvi separately , and honestly I really like having my gps separate and portable. That is my preference.

One thing I can say about the kenwood units is they take about 30 to 45 seconds ( I haven't timed it ) to load up when you turn on the car. I have a 32gb flash drive hooked up to the usb for music, might be part of the slow loading.....I believe others report the same timeframe though. They have ipod control should you need that via a ipod video cable for about $30 extra.

My kenwood is hooked up to Infinity Reference components up front w/ full range Reference 6 1/2" in the rear. The sound is extremely crisp and clear, and pretty loud w/o any extra amps. I will add in a 10" sub to finish the sound out soon, but even w/o a sub it sounds VERY nice. Better sounding than my JBL system in my 05 Limited.

This is my second Kenwood/Infinity system in two different cars, and neither has been the slightest bit disappointing. I too almost went w/ the Pioneer units, but past experiences w/ both brands swayed me to the kenwoods.
