I don't have Angel Eyes, not my cup of tea. But, yes, I imagine that you DO have to match them up (they are right up against the shroud). Good thing most shrouds are the same size (I think).

If I would re-do my retrofit all over I definitely go Bi-xenon. FX-R is a great projector. I'm not sure why TSX are so overpriced. I paid $120 for my set 5 years ago. The reason I chose them is because they were cheap. Price doubled since then? Wow. Probably demand is high since they very compact and easy to install. TSX is ok projector but there is so many better ones out there. TL, LS460, FX-R just to name a few.

Encounter my first hurdle, need to do so dremel trimming for the HID reflector to be expose more.
As Far as opening the housing, it was very easy. It just takes time and patience but it was easily than I thought it would be. 265 degrees for 7 minutes, it was perfect.

Can't wait to get mines. I ordered the FXR. Did you get the 3five bulb or their newer version XB35?

Yea extra $20 for something better no big deal. The XB was back ordered for me so hopefully I don't have to wait too long for it. Or maybe shoot for the Phillips for an extra $45 instead of the $10 for XB. Gotta give them a call or email now since we're chatting. LOL

Here's a link to my Acura TL retrofit. They are great but take a lot of precision to fit and align because of their size. You won't have nearly as much trouble with the FX-R's.
Good for you for getting an extra set of lights. Put those in the car while you cut the retrofit so you're not rushed to finish. It's a long process, but well worth the output.

Very Nice...thanks gona need all the help I can Get. My drill and I Are Still Not on Speaking terms. I believe I paid $100 for the 2 Sets of headlights. I Paid $60 for 1 set a while back that look New. Then I found these for $40 that look very Good too. Both OEM which is what I wanted. Ya I want to Take my time with this project. Now time to look at my lighting options Thanks everyone for there input makes this much easier.

I'll second the TL retrofit! LOL. Anyway, the TLs are freaking epic. The 06-09 projectors are sweet, but a retrofit can/will blow it out of the water.

Im going back and forth. About a year ago I bought all parts needed for a 03-05 retrofit. Got everything in and buttoned up, but had MANY problems (my own doing, of course). I couldn't get the darn headlights to reseal correctly and I also was having such a hard time correctly aiming the projectors. Every time I thought I had it right I would test drive and I would get flashed by oncoming traffic.
Also, possibly from the aftermarket Depo headlights I used the front plastic showed stress or heat? cracks right in front of the projector.
Sadly I scrapped the build and went back to the terrible stock and foggy reflectors. Been saving to get the 06-09 OEM Sports instead.
I still have all the parts, in case I rally up the courage to try again though.
Retrofitting is hard work, I just wasn't versed enough for the job :/

Realize when you do that, your side body cladding will no longer match. This is why most don't "upgrade" the front and rear bumpers to 06-09 models.
