I have a 2005 non DRL 4runner and I want to do the 06 and up healight swap my problem lies with the wiring my parking light plug has only two wires the harness from toyota has three, but one of the lights I bought came with a parking light connector that is an exact plug and play to my harness does anyone know the part number

I am looking for any solution that uses plugs either another light socket with plug from the first picture and another turn signal or two female connectors for the wire harness which I can tap into the parking and turn signals to create my own power. I really just want the parking lights option to work because its the easiest set up just tapping the blinker is not that big of a deal but tapping the parking lights and blinkers get to be some more work. Any help will really be appreciated.

Hey I'm doing the same thing! Atleast, I think I am. I'm having trouble following your thread.
Here's what I've figured out so far. Since that pic is my harness.
I broke the 3 piece connector and separated the green and white wires. I plugged the green wire's spade into the parking light socket from my my 04's harness, and I took the white wire which is the ground, and did the same thing. Works like a charm.
Right now its secured with electrical tape, but I'm going to my local dealer this weekend to see if i can buy the connector from the 06 harness to plug those 2 wires into, so it doesn't look all ghetto with electrical tape.
That leaves me with the red wire, which is the positive wire for the blinker. The white one is the ground for both so I figure that base is covered. I'm still not sure if I'm going to add the second blinkers yet, so i don't know how I'm going to attack it, but more than likely, I'l just splice it, if I do go that route.

I looked around the internet and came across someone adding turn signals to a tacoma and he said he found some blinkers from an older model celica took some pictures and was asking for help. Well it turns out that is the same plug that toyota sells for 06 4runner turn signal/parking light harness it just doesnt have three wires it has two. I found a two pairs in the junkyard perfect fit Im gonna take apart one pair, add another wire to the other pair and then just plug it all in. Im still hoping partznet gets back to me about that first plug and how I can order it. That way I can keep the blinkers separate.
