Headlights working ab 90% of the time!!

HELP! The headlights of my 2013 4-Runner work perfectly about 90% of the time. I’m at the Dealer and, of course, they turned on perfectly. They are checking the vehicle but said it is hard to solve the problem when it’s not evident.

Has anyone else had this problem? All suggestions welcome.

Can you provide a little more detail to your issue?
Are the lights simply not turning on, are they dim, is it both lights or just one side, do you have aftermarket bulbs (HID, LED, etc..)?
Just some background info will help diagnose potential issues.

What electrical changes have you made in the last 6 months? Battery, horns, radio, etc.

Any accidents? Lights just die, or fail to turn on?

Are your battery terminals clean? How do you get the lights back on?

Do the high beams work?

They both turn on normally except when they don’t! I went to an auto parts for new bulbs but when I closed the door the headlamps were on and remained in the auto on/off after I closed the door.

FLASH NEWS! They just told me that the headlight switch is faulty. I did purchase the extended warranty and they are going to call about coverage. Thank you for the quick responses.
