HEALY Gas Pump Problems

Just a little background info I'm from SO CAL and recently one by one the gas stations surrounding my house have switched to the Healy branded nozzles... idk why but anyway...

the problem is that these pumps have a tendency to stop pumping in the middle of a fill up even though the tank is not even close to full... i have to stand by the pump and start it many times before the tank is finally full... has anyone else encountered this, and if so how do they resolve this issue...

This happens to me all the time......I used to live in South Orange County and it was every station, now I live in Irvine and not so much I usually play around with it and I can get it to stay in there....

It's usually not the pump that's the problem. Pull the nozzle out a little. The problem lies in the fact that when you put the nozzle completely in, absolutely no air is getting in or out. So, naturally you keep filling and the pressure builds and tells the nozzle that it's full. Put the nozzle in and then pull it out slightly. "Thats what she said" Try it again and see if that helps.

I think you'll be amazed how it works. I've had to deal with this same problem in my last two cars.

so wat ur saying is... pull out and and just keep the tip in... lol...

Tell me about it! I live on Orange County as well. That happens to me all of the time.
