Heat coming into the cabin from the rear window?

Exhaust???? Unlikely...do you smell the exhaust????
You should be able to put your hand 1' away from the exhaust and barely feel the heat...Maybe in the middle of winter....But no way are you going to feel an heat from exhaust at the rear window...just too far and it'll be dispersed and cooled too much.

Ive really only smelled exhaust once, plus im not really concerend with the smell, its more the heat. A buddy was driving my car 4runner around and i was sitting in the back, It was kind cold/nice that night so he lowered the window and around 30-40 mph i feel a huge wave of heat come trough the back window and I can feel it on the back of my head. its only there from that speed. I thought it was kinda weird. And no not sun, this was at night.

i've felt it too, i've always chalked it up to all of the heat from the engine bay being carried under the truck as air passes through the engine bay and under the truck. i don't think you have anything to worry about.

It might be the exhaust, if you ever see when its raining and your driving, the rear window gets really misty, because of the air flow around it. It could be the exhaust, I would try a side exit.

A side exhaust won't fix it either, I have mine routed right out behind the passenger rear tire. I've felt it and I also believe it is from the heat of the engine being sucked back in the truck from the rear, of course I only roll the rear down if my fronts are down too. But cracking that rear window by 6"+ with the fronts down helps to smooth out the air turbulence on the inside of the truck.
