Heat gun to "bend" bumper instead of cutting all the way

Hey guys,

I'm about to do some more bumper cutting on the front, but I don't want cut off pieces of plastic just hanging. I want super clean inward folds near the cuts for a clean almost OEM look.

So I plan to use a heat gun and a straight edge to bend back the bumper inside the wheel well and fold parts of it instead.

Does Toyota plastic respond well to a heat gun?

I trimmed mine with a razor knife and finished the cut off with a fine sanding sponge. the edges are super smooth and unless you know I cut it, it's a flawless look; no heat needed.

I originally wanted to use a heat gun to bend the bumper but in the end, it barely did anything and it wasn't worth the extra hassle so I trimmed the bumper in the end and used the heat gun to push the inner fender liner more in.

Long story short... Just cut/trim.

The bumper plastic is so thin I just used a new set of hedge shears. It was a perfect straight cut. Took less than 2 seconds for each side.
