Hi all, I'm new here. I have a 99 4runner 3.4 SR5. I recently bypassed the rear heat because it wasn't working and being in the rust belt I didn't want to deal with any potential future leaks.
I looped the rubber lines with a barbed union where they tie into the steel ones at the firewall. Looking at it now I'd rather just clean it up and get the proper non-rear heat hoses that go into the control valve and out of the return.
Can someone point me in the direction of the hoses I would need to eliminate the T's that feed the rear heat lines? Thanks in advance.
And while I am at it can someone give me the correct way to replace the rear shocks. The nuts on the top are rusted and spin the whole tube when trying to undo them. I'd guess that I need a locking strap wrench of some sort to hold the tube and try to get the nut off. I even tried to just cut them but couldn't fit my sawzall in the tight space. Thanks
