So on both of my front fenders, I had some heat damage to the point of where the paint discolored, and or chipped away entirely. It's a roughly 2 by 3" section on each fender where it goes straight down to the primer.
Obviously I'm going to have to repaint these fenders entirely. My question is, what are your thoughts for building up the paint lauers on the exposed areas so the paint seam isn't visible? I was wondering if getting razor blade and cutting s fresh clean line, layering paint on the seam with a brush then wet sanding it on completion would be the best method. Anyway. I look forward to your theories.
