Heck of a deal on Pennzoil

I don't really want to get into a "that oil sucks this oil is better".
I use Pennzoil because it's readily available in my area and a good price.

I believe most oils are pretty similar and are made to similar standards.
That being said I decided to search Amazon to see if I could save some money.

Pretty good price, but the kicker is for a 5-quart container there's a $10 rebate.
That means 5-quarts of a premium synthetic brand for $12 (after rebate which I've received before from Pennzoil).

Thought I'd share, the rebate process is easy on Pennzoil's website. You just fill out a couple things and upload the receipt on the website.

Very good price! Thanks. Local Walmarts have summer good deals. I usually buy what's on sale. My truck has seen many different brands of oil. That way I can take advantage of all oil company detergents. Lol.

The link says the rebate expired April 30, but they obviously honored it for you. That's the same price as Walmart on Mobil 1; but I'd load up if they give me $10 back!

For some reason the Amazon link says that. But if you look at the actual PDF from that link, or go to Pennzoil's website it clearly says it's running from Jan 1 2016 to Dec 31, 2016 and must be postmarked by Jan 15, 2017 and received by Jan 31, 2017.

Basically, Amazon is wrong, you have until the end of the year.

Basically, Amazon is wrong, you have until the end of the year.

I'll give it a shot, at worst I'll pay the same price as I would at Walmart. I was looking at it on my phone and hadn't opened the PDF.
