The truck is my current offorad vehicle - excursion wheeling and general 4x4 mayhem.

As the Blazer has grown it has become less road friendly thus the need for the 4runner. I will use the 4runner for commute vehicle, towing the motorcycles on day trips, grocery getter and kid hauler

My previous car (02 S4) was too small, wanted a nice safe vehicle with lots of creature comforts.
The 4Runner options:
Limited with v8
Nav with CD changer in console
Sport bumper
pedal kit (OBC??)
Does not have XREAS, HAC, (YAK, GAK,
...)

: . That sort of thing. The Blazer is nearly unstoppable. And it goes in for more mods this month - cage tied to frame with new leather seats and m12000 winch replacing 9000lb current (wore out the 9000 on 2 long durations pulls extracting others).

The folks here are wonderfully well infomred and unstinting in their advice. My 4Runner is 2 1/2 months old and 5880 miles on it. Runs very well anmd except for a bad lug nut that was replaced forthwith at Toyota, nothing needed attention.
Just think of those 600,000 poor Dodge Durango and Dakota owners whose wheels tend to fall off right as they are making a turn.....Dodge says no problem, you will hear a bad crunching noise right as the wheel brakes off the axle--no need to recall.
Toyota quality is really the gold standard.
