Alot of good info on this forum so I figured it was time to join in... Thanks for having me ! This is my "05 TR4 SR5 on the beach in Carolina Beach where we live when it she was 8 months old...still looks just as good !

Welcome! I'm nearby in Clinton. I frequent Carolina Beach a lot during the summer, but I don't know how much this year with the new restrictions. We should get together sometime and hang out.

I'm certainly looking forward to some warmer weather and enjoying the beach in the 4runner. I will likely be heading down to Ft Fisher more this year over CB. Maybe the local 4runner owners can arrange a meet and greet.

Actually I don't go to the North End anymore..it's gotten way to crazy and crowded in the summer. Maybe the new camping regs will help but I think its gonna be a problem for people who have come for years and don't know that they have to reserve a site online now..when they start turning people away who drove 4 hrs to get here, and weren't planning on staying in a hotel, might be some angry and disappointed campers. Ft Fisher on the other hand is probably one of the most pristine beaches on the east coast where you can still drive a vehicle, nearly 4 miles to the end then you can walk miles more on virgin beaches in Bald Head preserve...this is my beach of preference by far !
