Hay everyone, I'm looking at buying a 4R. Mostly a 4th gen but not sure if it a lil over priced. 06 sport v8 155xxx minor surface rust on under body not sure if timing belt has been done but the records they have are from Toyota. Oh yea they want 13000 out the door that's plate tax's everything.

Thoughts? What i plane to use it for dd getting my motorcycle to the track and off roading if i find someone to go with nothing hardcore. Coming from a 2nd gen pickup. So any thoughts?

The price sounds good. Look around online within 200 miles from you on autotrader and see what prices are like. To find if the belt was done you can plug the vin # into Service History Online - Toyota Owners and find out if the belt was done. I just paid $16,500 a month ago for a 2008 V6 with 86k. One thing I never thought to check is the gas door. Mine has a broken hinge and it turns out it is a common problem.

Thanks, for that site. Found out that it has all the maintenance is up to date.

I'm still on the fence about going and buying it though.
