HELP! 2002 Toyota 4Runner w/ stock 15" wheels. Need tire suggestions...225/75/15

2002 4runner needs tires replaced with a stronger sidewall based on crap ride quality lately, I might also be doing some light towing in the next few months. I had it looked at today and this size is difficult to find! I was interested in Cross Terrains or LTX's but cannot find in 225/75/15 Please share any suggestions based on what is on the market. Thanks!

I would consider going up in size to a 235/75R15 tire. They would be a little wider, and taller than the 225/75R15 tire, but it is a much more common size.

Move up to 16" wheels.

You can find Toyota ones on CL or at a junk yard. Reprint them yourself cheap.

15" is lame. Go to 16.

235/75/15 is a really common tire size and close enough you wont notice the difference in size.

Get 235/75/15's. They look no different from a 225. No need to upgrade to 16's either.

If all the OP is looking to do is replace his tires, I really don't see the need to spend any money on 16s. He's not getting bigger brakes, he's not getting a lift and bigger tires... waste of money to get new wheels when all he wants is a set of tires.
