HELP... Allpro UCA install problem

I'm installing Allpro upper control arms in my 2000... I cannot get the uniball adapter installed in the spindle. Does it have to be pressed in? The instructions from Allpro only say to install it with the snap ring. Doesn't say anything about needing to press them in.

Please help:noidea:

to keep it short, Pain in the Ass!

so i had to use the ball joint press, to press the new slug in, after i pressed the old ball joint out.

now before you press the new slug in, clean the bottom surface of the spindle, you need to have the mating surface of the slug and the spindle (flat spots) clean and flat. now you have to keep those clean so the slug will fit all the way through the spindle so your upper snap ring will fit int he grove that there.

maybe try torching the spindle and freezing the slug, i should have done that, it would have helped!!!

Mine was a little tough to get in, but I didn't use any kind of press.

Cleaning everything really helps.
