Help! Any suggestions?

Hello I recently purchased a pioneer head unit for my 4runner and installed it and wired everything fine, it works great. When I went back to put all of my center console pieces back on the first one just won't snap back on correctly on the right side, does anyone have any suggestions or have experienced a similar issue?

I double checked everything, no wires in the way it just won't snap back on, my left side snaps back perfectly though. Thanks for your input!

Did you break a part off for the clips? I would look there. You might not have noticed it. I know i broke one of mine and had to break out the Super Glue to fix that little issue. Worked fine after just have to be easy with it.

When I was looking at it today I didn't notice any broken clips just some scratches and scrapes along with slightly damaged pieces but not nearly close enough to be broken.

Check the clearance on the inside lip of the panel around the new head unit, sometimes it can get hung up there. That said, I've seen mine do the same thing and just gave it a bit of a smack and it popped all the way in, but only do this if you're sure the clips and everything else is lined up right and out of the way.

Ill check that tomorrow, what I noticed where the heat/ac control box seems to be a little out of line nothing major but that might be impacting it. I did align everything earlier and gave it a few good punches but no change. Thanks for the input!

Take the bottom piece of the console out and lift the piece loose around the eBrake. Put the radio trim piece back in starting at the top. Then put the middle piece back in, and lastly the piece around the eBrake.

I did, in the picture you can see (kinda) I put them back on to see if it would make a difference, no luck.

That being the case, take the climate control out and try refitting the bezel. If it fits with the climate controls out, you've found your problem. I had one ('97 5Speed) that I had the same issue with. Can't remember how I wound up fixing it, sorry.

Are the pieces for the vents lining up correctly? I have trouble with those not wanting to go where they are supposed to at times.

Ok it ended up being a bent pice of plastic, I got everything in looks great but I now noticed nothing in my car is illuminating (gauges, shifter letters, etc) also my car doesn't buzz when I leave my lights on, please help any suggestions?!?

I am also going to my mechanic tomorrow for a tune up etc, is it something they could fix??

Check your fuses and connections first. If its not one of those then I'd have him take a look at it

Where are the fuses located (yes I know noobie question) so I can check them out. What should I be looking for when looking at them?

There's a panel right above the hood release. That should be where the fuse for the interior is. On the back on the panel it should say what each one is, or it will be around there or something.
If not then there is another fuse box in the engine compartment by the battery.

Either way you will look for a broken fuse. There's a metal strip that goes from one blade to the other and won't be complete if its broken.

Also check the stop/tail fuse. Toyota runs them on the same circuit with interior lights on some models.

Also check if your headlight fluid is low
