At the install getting my icons.

A random customer wants my 1000 mile, used, suspension. ‘18 TRD Off-road

What do I ask?

For the most part you can't give that stuff away. If you could get even a few hundred bucks you'd be doing pretty well.

I had 300 miles on my stock stuff. Sold the front springs for $75 and threw the rest away. I agree with $500 and would settle at $150

Anytime you can get ANYTHING for stock throw aways you are doing good in my opinion. From trucks to cars to motorcycles.

These shocks require maintenance. Seals will occasionally need to be replaced.
Even more frequently, they require the spherical bearings to be replaced.

I got 10 months out of the spherical bearings on my kings. I have 2 sets of shocks, and I work on them myself, so it's not a big deal.

But these will creak and make noise when the spherical bearings need to be replaced.

Don't be greeeedy ..... I got a full suspension from a Fellow member in Cali a couple years ago, needless to say he let it go for 100$ including the stock UCA's. I used the the UCA's after I got my bumper and suspension... quote just for stock UCA's is 400$ a piece lol in my damn up north Quebnec Province !

So don't be greedy but be ? just a bit greedy maybe ....

seals should last a good long time.

If you're handy, you can replace the spherical bearings yourself. There is one at the bottom of your new rear shocks, and there 2 on the coilovers, one on the top and one on the bottom.

Some people send their shocks away for service-- that's all I'm saying.

I second this. I regret selling my old suspension setup. I think most people get 2-3 years out of their ICON/KING setups before they need to be rebuilt. Of course your driving conditions will dictate how frequent intervals are.

Depends on if you are comfortable doing it yourself, or have a shop nearby that can do the work. The spherical bearings are easy, but do require shock removal.
