Help Idenitify unknown part !

Hello everyone, new member, new 4Runner owner (2001).

Changed my oil for the first time this weekend on this GREAT older 4Runner. (quite an adventure for me finding the oil filter - strange placement)


Anyway, I took the long way and removed the engine guard/plate to do that. In doing so, a part was sitting on top of the rear most plate. For the life of me I cannot see where it goes or even IF it goes on this truck. Here are a few pics and the number stamped on the "arm" is 070561 - What is this? Thanks!

It's a bracket for a K&N Filter intake. It does look broke though, so that is the reason you found it not attached. Check out this link, part I, and look at picture #15 and on.

That is it! Thanks so much. The truck does have the K&N so this mystery has been solved. You guys are fantastic! (this was really bugging me since it was my first oil change and first 4Runner.)
