Help identifying line on driver's side frame

I was under my 2014 SR5 working on some corrosion mitigation and saw that I have a disconnected line that runs from near the front of the fuel tank to above the rear axle housing. It has a green paint mark on it and is next to what appears like the rear brake lines. Image attached. Any idea what it is? Thanks

Do you have any smaller versions of the image?

Looks like it has already rotted through at some point and the OEM line was cutoff and a (poor) replacement section (rusty line) was installed. You should replace that junction and the cut line with OEM replacement parts.

Is that all from the front range mag chloride use, or did this 4runner come from the rust belt?

This one came from Ohio, the frame is intact but skid plates, trailer hitch, fuel tank straps, etc. have rust on them. I moved to the south recently so most vehicles don't rust too badly here. Going through and replacing/fixing the problem areas now. Thanks for the help.

"front of the fuel tank to above the rear axle housing" It is above the rear axle housing not connected to anything. Looks like it is the stock brake line that is no longer in use.

This. And look at the bends (or lack thereof) in the replacement line. Obviously a poor fix and they even left the old line just hanging there. The repair obviously saved someone a couple bucks though.

I just had a dealer replace all my hardlines the right way, and it sure wasn't cheap. Especially adding in the full fluid flush afterwards.
