Update: Talked to king. for these OEM performance series shocks, the seal kits that they send out cover every oem performance series shock. does not matter if they are remote resi, or not, the seal kit covers all their shocks so you Will have left over seals. Just match up the ones you take off with the new ones.
Also to make these "extended travel" you remove the 1/4" silver metal spacer. but leave the rubber bump in place. These are words from King.
So I currently have my first coil over partly torn apart.
I have 2 basic questions.
1. What part do I remove off the shaft to make it extended travel?
2. When I released the nitrogen pressure out of my shock some oil came with it. So I assume my internal air bladder has a hole. Or is it just a seal that's failed? (My dirtbike shocks have a rubber rubber bladder so I assume these do as well. I might be wrong tho.). What keeps the oil apart from the nitrogen?
The second picture is looking down the shock body. How do I get that part out?
