These were the same comments I read with some of the FJ crowd. That is the reason I suggested Fox. My Fox's are quiet and plush. The ride of Fox's on rough surfaces is most excellent. Washboard is manageable with them. I need to post up my observation in a new thread since I have now run, spacer kit, Bilstein, OME and Fox's on my 4Runner.

Couldn't agree more, those of you looking to upgrade your suspension and still deciding between a daystar/fj springs swap/bilsteins, or something more expensive like an Icon or Fox complete overhaul I would say that toytec is a perfect middle of the road choice, albeit a little expensive but it maintains the capabilities to handle hard offloading; having done it myself several times and often outperforming the jeeps I ran with!
I installed the Ultimate last august and ditched XREAS on my '06 sport and I have to say, I am definitely satisfied with the results. I'm sitting right at 112,000 on the odo and considering I will have the SW on the front soon the coilovers should really help with accomodating for the weight, since I still have plenty of room to crank them up without losing too much downtravel. (I have 4' lift from stock in the front and 3'5 in the rear, I'm also running 34' nittos)

I will never ever purchase or support Radflo products again. SUCH a disappointment dealing with Radflo and their customer service. I just received my 'rebuilt' shocks due to the issue mentioned above, and after spending $130 dollars in repairs after only having these on my truck for 2 weeks, they sent back one of the shocks without the upper rubber bushings.
Seriously Radflo? I spent $450 for the rear set + $130 in 'repairs' and I still am not getting what I expected.

So the clunking seems like it's just part of their design or lack of design. I've come across a lot of threads about this problem, seems like an inferior product but if they gave you a refund they'd have to give everyone a refund.
sending you faulty parts on top of that? that's just a shit way to do business.
there was a time when I considered Radflo but no way will they be on my shopping list when it comes time to swap out my air bags.
sorry you had a bad experience with them, maybe try and sell the kit to someone on craigslist then buy a better product? you'll take a bit of a loss but at least you'll have a better kit on your truck. That clunking people describe would drive me nuts.

Anyone have recommendations for rear shocks? I've had nothing but issues with the Radflo 2.0's...and my Bilstein 5100 shock just had the top thread shear off upon offroading?
I'm running the 2" rear Radflo springs...I'm not sure what caused the Bilstein issue.
What is a simple, strong rear shock. I'm tired of these issues and just want a good shock that doesn't break on me back there.

Icon's, cant recall hearing any complaints about them.
I would suggest Icon or Fox.
Yep my Fox 8-way adjustable resi's ride great no matter the terrain.
They're great shocks, but after a year they started squeaking like an old mattress. I've tried spraying Tri-flow on them with no luck.
That, and I was looking to swap the front coil springs to either 550 or 600 lb coils, so I called Icon to ask if they sold the coils in 14" length because I didn't want the blue King coils, and all I could get out of them was a "No, why would you want to do that? We've already got the best ride out of them". Even though there's a thread on this on TW where Icon reps post in.
Did you check with Swift? I run Swifts on my Ohlin dampers on my Audi with excellent results.

Those look great, but I only ever looked at Eibach/King's. I'm probably just going to endure it till I can afford LT and switch to King's.

I'm currently running the Radflo 2.0 with Light Racing SPC UCA's. I wheel it somewhat often and they've been good to me so far. I also use my truck as my daily driver(in sales and my territory is all of New England so I'm on the road a lot). It still has a good daily driving ride. I have a lot of weight on it also. I'm wanting to upgrade to compensate for the weight but it's alright as of now. I don't think you'd be disappointed.

I would like to run icons but how often I could have to rebuild them?, also In panama we don't have much rock crawling and all the trips are in mud, so what you recommend OME that has stealership in Panama or the icons that I would have to bring them from the us, and if the icons would value at the time of mudding or I should go with the simple ome?
