If its the same size as the other Zeon it fits just fine. The extra benefit is that you wont need to squeeze your hand in to free spool.

So this is going to be an insanely stupid question which I think I already know the answer to but I have a Shrockworks bumper installed and am looking at winches as well. Will the bumper have to be removed to install the winch or will it be able to fit either through the top opening or below if I remove the skid plate?

Wasn't actually planning on using it, just wanted heavy, expensive hood ornament that keeps my mileage down.

The remote based clutch was an attractive feature, however opening the hood and creating a hole to reach the winch wasn't high on my priority list.
With the SSS Hybrid . . . access to plugging in a wired remote and reaching clutch were doable, however having the Zeon Platinum eliminated the need.
Reliability? Difficult to imagine it will hold up like straight forward winches with fewer moving parts and years of testing. However I paid the premium for the Warn, so I'm hoping they released another good product.

thanks for the info, [MENTION=6163]phillyd2[/MENTION]. just kinda starting on advancing from winch dreamin' to winch schemin'... so still figuring this all out. the fact that there's no hand-operated clutch on the unit itself does seem like a good feature given the limited access of the hidden mount.

I'm waiting on the aluminum Demello Offroad bumper that should be released shortly. They said not to go with the Zeon for their bumper as it's significantly larger than the 9.5XP. They did squeeze a Zeon in, but said it was a nightmare. I don't have the tools or know-how for handling that. So I'll be sticking with the 9.5 XP, and I can get it for a great deal.

Warn 9.5 XPS
I have the Warn 9.5 XPS and had to make some modifications for the solendoid box to fit in the bumper. It will not fit attached to the winch itself. I used the mounting bracket that came with the winch and welded a piece of metal angled at 90 degrees to attach it to a cross member in front of the radiator. This allowed me to access it pretty easily (see pic, lower right opening). From what I remember, the directions for the Shrockworks bumper suggested attaching it to metal arm in front of the radiator, but access to it would have been awkward and inconvenient. I assume that most solendoid boxes will not fit in the bumper if attached to the winch, AND you still need easy access to it. Just my 2 cents...

This is what I got from Shrockworks - " I just took some measurements and I believe the Zeon will fit fine. You will need to relocate the solenoid box. "
So I am thinking it will fit with this kit. Warn Industries - Rigging Accessories for Jeep, Truck & SUV Winches: ZEON Relocation Cover (Actually I asked Warn cuz I did not want to guess so it is a fit)

Congrats, just bought the same from them during their black Friday sale (10% and free shipping). First one to install wins. Waiting on my SSS bumper so we'll see what kind of fitment issues there are.
