Apparently, some of you can't take a poke or a joke. I have done plenty of reading and the same people that are :infidel: are the same ones rude to those that are simply trying to find the correct info. So..... If you guys can actually discuss something and help me out I will stop the pro tronz antics that I possess.

:bigok:

I have decided my first lift set up will be Billy's on all 4 corners with SAW springs in the rear. I am currently running 265 Duratrac's and will move to 285's and a 3/2 lift later but for now this will do.

I have read a few threads showing pics of this set up but nothing really on the difference of the front height adjustments btw 1.75 and 2.5 settings.

I have seen more rigs set to 1.75 than the top notch setting of 2.5. Does having it set to 2.5 make it harder to get back to spec? (Alignment) Is it just for looks?

Don't mind the rake factor now because of the load issue. I just want to know the Pro's and Con's of those two settings. :fro:

Discuss this and I promise to play nice from now on. :thanks:

I have mine set at 2.5 and the shop that did the alignment did not say it was hard to get in specs. I have a 1.5 spacer in the rear so 1.75 up front was way to much rake.

.25 inches really causes that much more of a rake?

When I took the truck in I told them to set the front at 1.75. When I went to pick it up the first thing I saw was way too much rake. I told them to set the front at 2.5 and he said I told you it would be to much rake but that's what you wanted. He changed it to 2.5 at no charge (nice guy). Truck still has a little rake but I'll live with it for now.>1.75-2.5 makes a big difference in my eyes.

I am wondering about your choice to go to spacer vs the SAW spring?

My next Question

Is Wheeler's the best source to buy the SAW Spring? Or can I find it less than

$215 ??? :guitar3:  :guitar3:

I want to set to 2.5 but wondering why some opt to set front to 1.75?

I saw someone selling a set for below retail shipped. Check one of the threads I started about the cheapest place to buy the SAW springs, the guy posted it there I believe.

Thanks for the response!

My next Question :zoom:

Can the Front Billy set at 2.5 and with stock Spring handle the 140 lbs that a Shockwork bumper has?

We don't want you to leave. You are exactly like the kid every middle school had that had a "Kick Me" sign taped to his back. Everyone kicked him and he had no clue why. He just kept running his mouth all the time to no effect.
The entertainment value was sublime. Go ahead, keep hanging around. If someone starts to take you seriously I have saved the post of you trashing the guy who tried to help you. BTW all your questions have been asked and answered ad nauseam. Go search...

Stoked to hear about that Group Buy for Shockworks.. I got money for that

I am going to get a front bumper center hoop only :heh:

Powder coat it Grey :target:

I've never noticed you before. I don't know you and I have no idea what you've done to get all the 5th gen guys on your ass. I also have no idea what your suspension settings should be, but even if I did, the line I've quoted here would ensure you'd get no help from me. Admitting to being a troll and then asking for help from the guys you're trolling pretty much makes you the worst kind of dickhead.

I disagree with Greg. I do want you to leave. Since you're not going to do that until people stop enabling your trolling, enjoy my ignore list. I hope that you get enough people ignoring you that you wander off, because that'll make the board a much nicer place for everybody else.

GhostNote I haven't been around this section in a while so I haven't seen all of the shenanigans, but you've managed to burn some pretty solid bridges in less than 50 posts. It might be time for you to step away from the keyboard and do some reading. Best of luck man.

Then again, T4R needs a good whippin' boy every now and then.

You must mistake me for someone who gives a crap. It is a message board nothing more. Thanks for the giggles. I did make some good funnies no? Why so so serious? :clap2:
