Help needed after lift!!!

Awesome! Thanks. Is the cam kit maybe k100128? Nothing comes up for k00128 but k100128 is what comes up for a 4runner. Do I need just one kit for everything or one for each side? Also I see the bushings are listed for a tacoma but nothing comes up for a 4runner, I guess they are the same?

yes sorry was on the phone last night
yes k100128 (2)
and k200772 (2)
and k200773 (2) and you should all set to go
get a pack of sawzall blades
a drill or torch "i have seen a guy on here use a bottle jack to remove his bushings recently
i am going to give that a try this week

I was quoted $240 in labor from the shop I usually use to get these swapped out. I think I'm going to go that route given the tight time constraints I have. I am a little afraid of biting off more than I can chew with this.

Here is mine $115

is this a common thing to happen after a lift? Im thinking about doing a lift with the bilstein 5100 on my 03 sport. Seeing this and some of your answers are making me kinda draw back on it.

the frozen cams is NOT because of the lift
it is because toyota does not grease the cam assemblys from the factory
its a very very common problem...more so i states with harsh enviroments
its very easy to prevent....by keeping them greased every year or so...
now mooog has developed a greasable bolt so that should solve that problem once and for all

I ordered everything from rock auto last night 138.65 shipped to my door. Not bad. The order shipped fedex this morning and says it should be here by Monday.

Summit racing was actually the cheapest because they have free shipping over $100 but it wouldn't ship until the 13th and I need it ASAP so the extra $18 bucks to get them here in time was well worth it.

One in each pack is 826-2, 826-4 and the two in each pack are 826-8

pretty sure it should be 2 with 8's
and 2 bolts with one 3 and one 4
and there should be 2 sleeves for the 2 bolts with the thicker dia.
i will double check....
make sure bolts go through bushings.....
or just measure the cams....
i dont think it will be that big of a difference anyway

One bolt in each pack has no sleeve. Both bolts are different sizes and each one fit through a bushing.

Each pack is identical.

Got everything installed yesterday and apparently all is well again. Te guy at the shop said that it was kicking the installers but trying to cut those old bushing and bolts out haha.

Thanks to Brutalguyracing for pointing me in the right direction for the parts.

no problem glad to help
you should never have that issue again ..as long as you grease them every so often
If you replace the UCAs, does it avoid this problem?

this i a specific lca problem.....
uca's are a whole different ball game

Well crap, I was going to install the budget boost spacers soon but didn't expect to run into anything like this. Should I wait until I order these part first? IS it common enough to say that mine are most likely froze up? I'm in KY, it's an 06 sport v6.

From what I have found in my research. If the car has seen snow (salt) for any length if time then it is 100% chance that they are seized. Aside from that it looks like it's 75% chance they are seized lol

I wouldn't order the parts if they aren't seized but if they are you will just have to drive with it out of alignment for a few days until you get the parts from rock auto. A word of caution though it room the guy at the shop that did mine ALL DAY he said that it was kicking his but trying to cut those hardened bolts. So I would say if they are seized an you do the work yourself don't make any other plans for that day lol.

I went ahead and ordered them. Better to have them ready just in case. If I don't need them, I'll list them here for sale and save someone else some money. I have the worst luck with any repairs/mods. Anything I ever do is always worst case scenario.

Not a bad plan. Of they are good it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to change out the chamber bolt kit since you have to get an alignment anyway. The moogs have a grease fitting so keep it greased and you shouldn't ever have an issue.
