Help on a rear tube bumper

I bought this bumper and then bought the Addicted front. a cheaper option for me

There's a good chance that we may have matching front and rear bumpers haha, really like the look of yours

What was written on your ticket? We all know he was jealous of your 4Runner, that's why he really wrote it...
I'm gonna go ahead and take my bumper off and check this one out to see how it lines up. If it looks close I may just leave it and if not, just alter the mounting brackets like you did

I only altered the mounts so i could tack weld it onto the truck to get the ticket signed off. I ripped it off the minute I got back home. Looks like ass and it was in the way of my tire hanging so low.

haha he totally was, and he seemed genuinely pissed off. And thank you - the flaps were a hand-me-down from a friend. They don't really do anything besides keep the cops off my ass. Except I keep forgetting them when I take them off to wheel. I forgot them at Fordyce in August, then I forgot them at High Lakes a couple weeks ago. I hate mud flaps lol.

Could you also upload a picture of where your bumper connects to your frame? Is it welded or bolted on?
I'm going to go ahead and pick it up tomorrow but may end up just throwing a fishing rack on the front end.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on it tomorrow and that means it's time to officially time to start my own build thread. I don't go wheeling much or anything due to living at the beach so it'll be a more relaxed build with more surf/fishing accessories than anything else. I'll also log some surfing, fishing, kayaking, and camping trips in it.

I'll post a pic of how mines welded to the frame ( the same as dustins, just different bumper) I came down pretty hard on it the other day but its solid, plus one for 220 stick welds haha

Pretty straightforward, needed a small shim as the bumper was a bit narrower than the frame

Just called a few local shops and just to get it fitted for a 3rd gen, it would be around $250-$300 so I might hold off, a little steeper than I wanted to go

if you've got a sawzall you can do it for free man.. sorry it took me so long to get back, hectic week or so



I know this isnt really that clear but I just cut off the drop part of the bracket and had it welded up
