Help on rounded out top coil nut

I been working all day trying to break this nut out to pull the coils out and swap.
But one damn nut is stuck. It's on the front passenger side close to the inner side of the wheel well.
9/16 open end wrench don't work. Try using socket but it snapped the rachet and no room for deeper socket.
Any suggestions.

Either chop it off, pound on it with a chisel till it breaks or pound a smaller 6 point socket on there and hope you can get it to spin.

Hit with the torch for a bit. Should come off without even trying then. And use metric tools, our vehicles are all metric. They're not Jeeps

If you chose to go this route. Make sure you buy new top plates since going this route is going to ruin them. This is not a good idea!

Hit it with a torch for about a minute. Put a pair a locking pliers on it and you should be fine. You could also get an easy out on them, they would great.

Ditto. If you deal with rusted bolts alot, then you should pick up one of these Bernzomatic OX2550KC Oxy/Map-Pro Torch Kit-331673 at The Home Depot

It is small and a little pricey, but it runs off the very common bottles of O2 and acetylene you can get just about anywhere (and you can use propane and O2 for even cheaper than the acetylene) and it is pretty perfect for hitting bolts and nuts. get them to the point of just glowing, then they should come off pretty easy.

I have had a regular propane torch work on some less-than-totally-stuck nuts, but for the real tough jobs, I pull this guy out.

BUY THE EASY OUT KIT!!

Ive fought bolts like this my entire life, cutting torching hammering. I then bought the easy out kit and have extracted many rounded bolts first try without any torching. The kit is awesome!!

Try the things mentioned above. I will add that I have used Grip Tite sockets on similar situations with success.
