Help. Out of spec factory Tundra rotor? (pics)

I was wrapping up my 2nd side when I noticed that the rotor was dragging almost to the point where I couldn't turn it. I first pulled the caliper and re-cleaned the area where the rotor sits (even took some sand paper to it). When I re-seated the rotor (no caliper yet) and started turning it, I kept hearing a rubbing noise against the dust shield. At first I couldn't find it, but after some looking I found that the inside if the hub was rubbing against the inner part of the dust shield.....but only in one spot!

I put the caliper back on and as you turn the rotor it sticks out further in one spot of the rotation.

Am I doing something wrong or does it sound like a bad rotor? Thanks!

The casting does look to be off.

But got damn man!!!! Your shit is tooo clean. Take it out and use it!!!!!! Very clean and nice set up. Same as mine besides springs.

The radial runout of the rotor does appear to be excessive. Since it appears to be new, I'd take it back and exchange it.

You can take it back, but honestly, I would trim the dust shield a little more so it stops rubbing and run it. If you get a high speed vibration, then return it as defective. I dont think that will happen.

If it's rubbing inside where the shield is then it's normal. You must trim to bottom and middle of dust shield.

I did trim the upper and lower dust shield. Everything bolts up fine. It is just not "right". I ordered a new rotor last night and will call the same dealer about returning this one.

You also must trim inside of shield. If this is where its hitting.

But it is only hitting at one point in the rotation. That means something is out of round. If it was constantly dragging, I would have trimmed it....as I will if I experience it with the new rotor. Thanks.

Update

Received the new rotor from Camelbak today and got it installed. No more dragging issues....appears like it was in-fact the rotor. Of course now I am having a vacuum line leak that is causing an idling issue....lol.....I am going to have a new Runner by the time all this is done. Thanks for all the replies.
