Help please! CB install

Hey guys, so first of all yes I have searched around but nothing really has helped.I am in the process of installing my CB in the ash tray and I really cannot get the dash board trim with the radio attached back in the car. Yes I do have the 90º adaptor and I have tried moving all the wires around to make it fit. I have even unscrewed the silver box below the car radio and let it drop down to see if I could fit everything in then but still did not work. Since I have already cut the back out of the ash tray I really do not want to have to find a new place for the radio. Any help is much appreciated.

Well the zipties I used were to big and the female end I guess you could call it was above the mounting bracket and preventing me from putting the dash piece back on so I used smaller zipties and was able to tuck the female end under the mounting bracket.

Did you finally get an antenna mount?

Ha I am in the process of doing that but I decided I could at least put it all together for when I do get the mount and I could have fun with the PA in the mean time.
