Help please - green liquid substance

I don't think I ran over Kermit, a green man, or a green puss filled ???? I looked through some AC posts, but wasn't able to find anything like this.

I was confirming I had all tools for an UCA swap and I noticed a bright green liquid substance on some ribbed hose protectors. The hoses are behind the passenger front fender and appear to be coming from near the L pressure for the AC. I had my AC performance checked with dye and then evacuated and recharged 7/15/15. It was blowing hot and after service it worked perfectly again. I have not had any dripping, pooling, or green spray, but I did notice the green stuff today. I haven't run the AC yet this season so I can't confirm temp yet. I've attatched a few images for clarification.

I am suspecting this green substance is the dye from the performance check, but I am not sure so I am asking for thoughts from T4R.org.

I agree..hate to say this but look at the bright side, you just found where the leak is....if your AC is weak or stop working again....

My thoughts too, but if there is a leak I'm curious as to why it wasn't found during the performance check? The levels were low which is why it was blowing hot air. No leak detected during performance check; system was evacuated and recharged, and cold air was back.

Could this be residual dye from last July's performance check?
Could the leak have been undetected and decided to show up 10mos later? I agree this is possibility, but how realistic?

The leak only shows up as the o rings contract during the cold winter. Almost all A/C leaks are like this.

O rings? Where are these pesky possible culprits located?

I assumed (I know, I know) they pressurized the system during a performance check to find leaks?

There will be orings at each end of that line. If you do not see any green at the ends and only in the middle the line set shown may be the cause of the leak.

looks exactly like my leak of AC system after I put the dye in it. try a blacklight on it, should like up like a jackson pollock (guardians). i put some leak stop in after and been good to go since.

Well F$%#@! I had a AC systems check done with dye in July of last year and they didn't find or see the "crack" in one of the AC lines! Now, I get to pay to have the line replaced and get the system recharged again! At least I was able to negotiate 50% of the recharge since they should have found the crack the first time!

At least I'll have her back on Wednesday in time for the first family camping trip of 2016. Sand Dunes National Monument and Salida Co. here we come!

Keeping my T4R running is getting expensive in 2016! But, she's worth it!
