Hi, Im new to 4runners just bought a 90 2 door 6 cyl auto 240,000 miles , had it for a day got stuck in the mud,spent 12 hours sleeping in it waiting for help! and for some reason now it wont move? I dropped the transmission pan and the fluid was very dark,the screen was dirty fixed those things and checked the soilnoids they are good ?the od light was flashing and when I checked the code it said #2 needed looked at but like I said it is good , so at this point can some one please tell me what to do next?? please help if you can I do like the truck and dont want to scrap it !..

Whoa slow down.
In order for a lot of the experienced guys around here to diagnose (or take a shot at it) your problem you're going to have to be more specific.
1.) Does it start? Do you mean by not move...it doesn't start or it doesn't move once you start it?
2.) Go with the basics, fuel, electrical (distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, wires, water in the distributor?), air.
3.) Then it could be things like your clutch if it's starting but not moving, could be a bad transmission if it's not getting into gear (I'm not super familiar with automatic transmission fluid so it could be an indicator), etc. etc. etc.
Help everyone here help you, slow down, describe stuff accurately and with lots of detail.

Ok it never quit running ,just moving. when I put it in any gear it engages it just dosnt move?every thing looks ok under neath,drive shafts,hoses,belts , the whole thing looks fine just dosnt move. it does barely try to move but it just wont pull itself? Im wondering could it be torque converter? or just the tranny let go ???

I am pretty sure its not stuck but now I am going to have to check it?? lol ...when we pulled it out of the woods it rolled fine. and the way its acting it just dosnt seem to be getting any power to the drive train?? thats why i was wondering about the torque converter??..

Is it a stick or automatic?
If it's a stick, your might have blown your clutch out, if you engage the clutch and give it gas and you don't move, and your engine revs like you're in neutral...I'd start there.
If it's an automatic...well...take it to a shop, pay someone 45 bucks to do a half hour diagnosis and take it home and fix it.

.. Im really hoping its somthing simple i over looked?...
I replaced the fluid and changed the screen,and also the running gear,drive shafts,all good ? I guess its time for the shop?.. If any one thinks of anything else please let me know, And thanks for the help so far its nice to know that there are people out there that dont mind thinking about a strangers problem..
same thing was happening to my 93 v6 auto, i took out speed sensor #2, a crapload of hot A/T fluid spilled on me and i just threw the thing back in since i was in a hurry to get somewhere, turned out that i fixed it, this was in june, my O/D OFF light still flashes but its not doing anything weird anymore, try that!!

your transfer case is not in neutral is it?

the shifter would be in neutral, not 2high or 4wd, but chances are its in gear, just a thought!
