Help! Rear window wiper stopped working!

Last night I needed to use the rear window wiper and it didn't work on either setting (low or high).

I have no idea if this could possibly be related or not, but last Friday I had my JBL radio replaced at the dealership. I don't think I have used the rear wiper since then, could something have been cut/disconnected in the process?

It doesn't seem likely that the two are related, but it seems odd that it just won't work. Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem?

I don't necessarily mind taking the 4runner back to the dealership to get checked out, but it is a big hassle for me due to my work schedule (I work in a city close to an hour away....always gone during service dept. hours).

make sure the back window is all the way up as well. if it is down just a tad the wipers or defrost wont work. seen it happen alot of times when people bring the runner back dealership stating the wiper wont work.

This did the trick!

I put the back window all the way down, then put it all the way back up, and now the rear window wiper works.

You saved me a trip to the dealer!
