HELP! Tire size

Hi I have a 1999 Limited and am in desperate need of snow tires... I live in the mountains and commute a lot but don't have any $$ to spend. SO I'm looking to buy used tires. Is P22575R16 an ok tire size? I currently have 26575R16's on. Any advice on the rage of tire sizes I can play with that will be good in the snow? I've hear narrower tires...

If you can find a used set of BFG TA KO's in any size close to your stock size buy them. they wont disappoint.
