HELP-VSC OFF & Trac Lights are staying on!!

I have an 06 limited 4wd, 8 cylinder. 148k. These two lights and the little picture of the car with squiggly lines came on the other morning and are staying on. ANyone experienced this? And if so, any advice would be greatly appreciated. can email to [email protected], as I am on there much more often. Thank you!.

I have an 06 SR5 and am having the same problems, they started last week but go off sometimes. I was reading that alot of people are having this problem on the site also in the problems and warrenty forum, check it out. It sounds like it could be a couple different things. I will find out tomorrow what is wrong with mine and report back

Try doing a zero point calibration and see if it comes back.

No it doesn't.
All you need is a paper clip. it is very very easy, just take your time and count out the seconds at each step and don't rush it.

I had mine checked out today and it was a bad light sensor. They replaced it. I took it to the dealer because it is still under warrenty.

auto zone diagnostic showed small leak in evap line. i know that is causing the check engine light to be on, but is that also the reason for the vsc lights? THey both came on the exact same time? guess i have to go get a smoke test done
