Help With 2 Way Dash speaker wiring

Hey guys. I have a 2017 limited and the other day I blew one of the stock oem jbl tweeters in the dash. I saw some people have upgraded the tweeters to 2 way speakers to get better sound. Being that I thought this would be an easy upgrade, I bought the jbl club 3020’s. I used the original wire clip and wiring from the oem tweeter and soldered it to what I thought was the right way. I’ve attached pictures below. I soldered the green and purple wires to positive and the black and yellow wires to ground on the new speakers. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Here's how I wired my JBL Clubs, the left 2 wires on this pic are positive and I ran them through a bass blocker, the right 2 are ground and I spliced them into one as well. Hope that helps
