Help with 4XInnov slider install

I'm mocking up my sliders tonight to get the legs the right length and I've run into a variety of issues.

My sliders have square main, round outer, with a kickout.

The 'legs' are square tube that runs from slider to plate(on frame.)

I had to chop the bottom of the cladding on the back door to clear the kickout because of the angle.

My biggest issue.
If I square the leg on the slider, even with the angle cut in it, if it goes straight to the frame, it will hit towards the bottom of the frame not the middle.
So, the result is that if I mount the plates at a 45 like everyone says you should, either the leg will hit the plate very very low OR if the leg is centered in the plate, a portion of the plate would hang down below the frame.

I hope that makes sense. I need to take a picture or draw a picture.

I know there are a lot of differing opinions in this thread about how this should go................

But I called 4xInnovaitons and asked them what they recommended.
They said that having the square plate sitting square (vs like diamond) is very common.

As long as the leg is far enough up on the plate to lay down a solid weld, its fine.

I'm adding another picture... Because reasons.

The square pattern is the best option, even sitting low on the frame, I did even on round pipe.
I would use more of a I_I shape gusset on there, and longer the better. Look in my build and you can see and why. Page5.

I have the tilt up design and going to trim the bottom of the trim also,
only have a 1/4" gap with the door open now.

Not really sure what I_I is, but your thread was handy.

I have the legs about 3/8" off the pinch weld, and the tubes will be about 7/8" below the doors. I had to modify the angle to achieve this, but 1" of clearance was 4XInnovations suggestion.

So do you think I should beef up the metal on the sides of the legs?

The shape I was referring to is, take a square tube and cut the top of it and leave it in a u shape. Just cut it at an angle, example, 2" to 0".
Have the 0" at the bottom of the door pinch. The longer it is with hieght on the side the better.

Should be good with the top only. If you fill the need for the side, add a piece of flat stock over the leg and gussit.

I had 3/4" clearance before I added the extra length gussit.
