Help with air-conditioning squeal

OK so this year my air-conditioning squeals when I turn it on after it's been off. also about every 30 seconds or so you'll hear a very short squeal just for a second or so here is the video where you can hear the audio if you really listen of the squeal when turning on the AC. I recharged it last year are using AC pro and it blows cold air. When I start the engine and have it idling in the driveway I cannot make it replicate the same squeal it's only when I'm driving.

i bet the belt is a bit loose, might need some more tension. they stretch over time. i figured it'd probably have stretched at 50k by now but who knows
 
I couldn't get a good impression of the noise from the video. Is the squeal coming from outside the truck or inside the cab. My blower squealed every once in awhile. If it is outside, like others I would start by checking the belt tension.

This. Tighten the belt a little, takes all of 10 minutes. Rule it out before buying anything.

"Feels tight" isn't good enough.

Definitely outside the cab definitely under hood.

I seem to have trouble with this too. Everytime I start my truck it gives a loud squeal due to a rib breaking off the back side of my belt. Usually just change the belt after that happens. I live in the south and its very hot under the black hood of my runner, probably the issue.
 
Well I ordered a new pulley so hopefully have time Saturday to replace and I'll document and let everyone know

Being that the squeal is intermittent leans towards the belt slipping when the compressor cycles. That puts a load on the belt causing it to slip a bit before it catches again. A pulley would squeal all the time even when the AC is off as it is always spinning with the engine.
 
I accidentally overfilled my AC last year and it caused it to squeal for a few seconds every time the compressor kicked on. After correcting the condition, the squeal went away.

I recharged my air last year so I guess I'll have to hook the a/c pro back up and check the pressure. Do you know what the max pressure is off the top of your head??

I'm in about 32 pounds per square inch at 2000 RPM's on the low pressure side

Well didn't go well the pulley bolt loosened just fine but then started loosening the tensioner bolt and it snapped off. So I'll live with the squeak until I have to tear everything apart. Thanks for everybody's help
