Do you notice any noise when the truck is on the ground rolling, or just when it's up in the air and the suspension is at full droop?

I don't notice any noise when rolling. I will pay more attention tomorrow though. Even throw it in neutral and let it roll and listen real well.

NEED HELP WITH THIS, trying to decide what I should do, thinking maybe pulling the axle out, replacing it and trying again. I can free spin the driver side wheel pretty well, but this side has resistance. Kind of at a loss.

Have you switched CVs to rule it out? Not fun to do but it is a process of elimination.

CV's click when they are at the end of their articulation. Could be just that at full droop you are hitting that point and when they are spinning they are clicking. Sometimes you can turn the CV 180* and get some more angle out of 'em.

i havent switched them yet, i think i may, need to change the diff seal on driver side anyway. so i may swap them and then just see if it does the same in the other side before changing the seal out.

what do you mean get more angle by turning the cv 180°??

A properly assembled joint will have more axial play in one direction over the other, so that affects how you are supposed to orient them. It's probably mostly guesswork. Also If your axle assembles don't have serious wear or pitting already, then rotating them end to end and/or side to side may greatly extend their service life.

It could really be as simple as your cotter pin rubbing up against the inside of your dust cap.. I'd take off your dust cap and see if you have any paint worn off in the inside and then bend the cotter pin away from the dust cap.

Edit: never mind I just watched the video, it's something else.

i still havent figured this out, have more resistance on passenger side than i do on the driver side when jacked up and free spinning the wheel. not sure what to think.
