I can't decide which wheels I like best. I've tried the "see on your vehicle" that sites have, but they have pretty generic stock photos, so its hard to get a picture. It is my DD, with the occasional off-road trip...nothing too extreme though. I will be getting Duratracs in 265s with whatever wheel I get, whether its a 17 or 16. Which do you like best? Likes, dislikes, other suggestions...Thanks for any input.

Ocotillo - only comes in 17x9

Imperial - 16x8

Gunner - 16x8

Crusher - 16x8

American Racing - 16x7.5

well price would make a huge difference to me...

They are all relatively inexpensive. The Ocotillo is the most at $152, and the American racing is the least at $105...prices are one reason why I have narrowed it down to these.

And I'm not a huge fan of black wheels on white trucks...I like the contrast I have with my flares and windows, and want to keep the wheels light.

Methods. Although if it were me I'd get them in black

I would agree with this if they were in black, but I think they're a little too busy in the silver. Since you said you don't want black, I vote for the American Racing wheels. They're the cleanest in my opinion.

You could find some used OEM wheels for the price of 4 American Racing wheels or less.

Are you not interested in 80 series or LX450 wheels? Or some Fj/4runner wheels (although these will be 17")

I'm probably going to get shot for this, but to be honest I'm not the biggest fan of those wheels. I have always like the thinner "spoke" look. I also wanted to try and get something that I haven't seen very much of. I've looked into some of the 4th gen and Tundra split spokes, but I would lose the stance that I have now because of the backspacing. As for pricing, I just finished paying off this wedding, so this setup is going to be my gift to me!

I'm not a huge fan of spacers but that's usually an option. However, it will drive up the total price for your wheels of course and that may be the deal breaker in the end.

I vote 3rd gen limited 5 stars. You could find a set for $300, maybe less.

Or runner up would be the AR's because they remind me of the Konig Contersteer's.

The gunmetal FJ wheels are by far my favorite. Just wish they were easier to find :/

If anyone knows some that or for sale, let me know! I'd snatch em up in an instant.

I just can't believe you don't like the forged TRD's in Indianapolis, though - they've got faux bead locks, too! $250 a piece seems a lil high, but . . :)

BTW - Best wedding present EVER!

EDIT: JUST REALIZED those TRD's are 5 lug tundras :(

I was just going to say that...ya I've seen them for the past couple weeks...it sucks they're 5lug because I do like them. He is asking an awful lot though.
