hey guys, i traded my 2004 4runner for a 2006 tacoma but i think i'm ready to come back to the good ol 4runner. Anyways, i have a question for all those who purchased a new 2007 4runners.

i bought my 2004 4runner sport, 4x2, v6, with side and curtain bags, 115ac, homelink, double decker, and tow for 30000 otd. I went to the dealer today for 2007 4runner sport with exact same features and the best they could do was 33300 otd?!?

am i getting ripped or is that about the right price? i can't believe the price would go up 3000 in 3 years...

I think the going rate is still just above invoice. There's about $4000 between sticker and invoice on an SE, so I would think you'd be getting about $3000 off of sticker before you apply any incentives (cash back or financing).

I guess 33000 OTD is ok, mine was 32,900 OTd but its only SR5 4WD 2007 v6 with option combination #C

Why don't you just keep your Taco and wait until the redesign comes out?

My friend just picked up his 2007 SR5 V6 4WD for $29,650 before TTL with the following options:

Is your TACOMA a 4x4 ? I love the TRD Double cab 4x4. ( silver ) god I want one.

I would keep the Taco personally, depends on your need though. I would think you'd loose your but on another trade of an 06.

Thanks for all the replies. I would like to keep the tacoma but I got into a little fender bender few weeks ago... Picked up my insurance settlement check this afternoon and I guess I'm off to the dealers.

That is much better than I was quoted and you have more options.

I cant even get a better price for internet quote from the same place, I found it odd that by walking in i got a good price.

lol, I wish I had mula. I can't keep the taco it's totalled. Insurance paid me $28k for the truck so I'm using the remainder after paying off my loan as down.

I just ordered a 2007 V6 sport in titanium metallic with daytime running lights, alarm, spoiler, double decker, tow package, leather wheel w audio controls for $29500 before taxes.

I can't wait until friday. Thanks everyone!

Keep in mind hawaiian is in Hawaii dealing with a single dealer that owns almost all the Toyota dealerships in the state.

We usually do not get the rebates that the CONUS distributors offer. At most, there's a promotion for $200-300 of free gas or, currently, a $250 gift card at Macy's.

On the plus side, the dealers are very easy to deal with. There's no dealer markup, and the asking price is usually somewhere between invoice and MSRP (depending on the popularity of the model).
