Hid and stereo

This problem just randomly started. I have an aftermarket his kit and a pioneer x920 head unit. If my lights turn on with the car startup ... No problem. But if I switch the headlights on after unit starts up my music cuts out. Any ideas?

I have the same problem with my HID retros on my Civic. Just starting happening. Sound dumb, but: check your connections AND especially check the grounds to the HID kit. Did you get them off of ebay? Those seem to be problematic, but try that.
