HID Foglights...anyone have experience with these?

There just halogen bulbs with blue tinted glass, there fake H.I.D's, hints the low price... Wont look any different then your stock "yellow'ish" headlights except for a slight improvement in color. A real quality H.I.D kit will be about 100$ (I order all my H.I.D kits from http://www.plasmagarage.com/HIDkits.html )

Just an H.I.D overview because i know alot about them,
Everything in the item description here is bogus, you dont fill a halogen bulb with xenon gas, theres no way to supercharge the gas without a ballast, yet alone H.I.D bulbs look nothing like these here, If it was true xenon H.I.D it would come with ballast/plug and play bulbs/etc

yeah haha i kinda figured that, but ya think, for $13 then why not? i have the projector based halogen headlights but did not want the H.I.D. kit for them. If i was looking into greatly improving the lights I would have done the real deal. the halos and angel eyes are blue so i think putting these in the fog lights would look pretty good. Ill get some pics up when I get them in. who know's? maybe they'll look pretty good.

i have similar ones but a different brand, still cheap ones tho. they dont put out yellow like normal ones so thats good and when you see them from the outside of the truck there alottt brighter

They also say 100watt, if that's true you might have issues with your wiring/harness with the heat and current draw. I think the stock ones are what 50watt?

But even if the harness is not an issue, I bet those last maybe a month. If you use your fogs all the time. I've bought cheap bulbs in the past and they never last more than a couple months.

all these are are cheap ass eBay bulbs. if you want hid's get real hid's, if you don't then at least do t buy your bulbs off eBay :/

DDMtuning has HID kits for 35 dollars, and they're pretty decent kits. My favorite is V-LEDS.com, they're amazing with their customer service, and their bulbs range in price/quality.

You like the 8K heads/6K fogs? Would you opt for a different color if you had the choice?
