why would they make things easy... is the only thing you need to fill out is the wattage, bulb type, and bulb color right? it will give everything needed?

dang too bad about the ANZO's but its better that you found some at the salvage yard. performence is useually better then looks anyway right?? haha.
When did you order you HID's? i ordered mine on tuesday and still dont have a conformation on the shipping. I know there busy but geez! I would like to have them soon so i can put them in during the break.

Ok from everything I've read about HID's, I've gathered that the ideal set up for a 3rd gen is 35W, 5000k, H4 hi/lo raptor kit. 8000k will make your lights really blue, but you may be going that route. 5000k is pretty white and 6000k will appear more blue and I recommend that if you like the blue look.
35W is as high as you want to go because 55W will be way to bright and you will most likely be pulled over a lot and get high beams flashed at you a lot.

doooo it lol! im tellen ya it was buggin the crap out of me every day, seeing people with HID's im guesing what Kelvin rating they have and everything i had to bight the bullet
Yeah man they are swamped for the holidays it says that it could take 4 to 6 days to get a shipping conformation but you have the option to pay an extra $4 to get 3 day shipping (should of done that myself :ybrick:
and it looks like their on top of shipping to them.
I added them on my facebook a while ago and they stay in pretty good contact with you there, it looks like you just have to bug them a little and they'll take care of you
EDIT: I didn't see if someone told you this so sorry if im an echo the 8000K It's gonna make the night vison kinda crappy during bad weather especially. theres a bunch of youtube video's with people with that kelvin rating. but Im assuming you have already checked it out and dont really care about that so disregard my message if it doesn't apply LOL

Yeah if you like the blue look then 8k will be blue. I think certain colors can pull it off and black is one of them. I would suggest DDM because I'm pretty sure they have a lifetime replacement on their bulbs.

yeah they do have life so i will go with them. $40 cheaper than the others but they dont come is a cool suit case haha

not sure if it makes any real difference but the bars in front of my lights seem to block a lot of the light

I dont think the HI/LO part is worth it. The hi beam has to warm up before its really bright.
Anyway, got all my stuff today, just need a day to get it installed.

1. How many of you guys are running these with daytime running lights? Are they slightly dimmer like the stock setup when full lights aren't on?
2. BigJohn called DDM and the customer service guy couldn't verify if in fact they were bi-xenon bulbs in the high/low kit. So, how do you know? As VVME.com lists them as bi-xenon.
3. For those with high/low: Is there a wait time for the high beam to really get bright? I would assume not, but need to ask.

You can't run HIDs with DRLs.
Steezemcqueen has the HI/LO DDM kit and said that his are Bi-Xenon.
From what I've seen the only wait time is for the HIDs to warm up. There should not be a delay when you flash your highs.

I snipped mine cause it should make them last longer i think most guys have done that here.
but here is a pic of what i did in case i ever need them back very easy mnod with no side effects
As for the Hi/LO its the same bumb so as long as you already have it on it should be warmed up. what happens is the bulb adjust from the casper shield causing it to shine at a different angle

I don't know. It's California and I feel like they have some kind of law against not having hi/lo.
