Yeah I'm considering going back to halogen headlights and adding the Rigid DOT legal fogs. I'm not having any issues with my HIDs, but even adjusted all the way down I'm still getting flashed daily. I don't want to be 'that' guy.

I've installed HIDs & LED's on my Wifes', Sister's, Father's and my own Truck. Not counting the significant increase in light output, better visibility at night, and color temp options, I completely agree, zero return.

You do know how to aim your lights.... right? No one is getting blinded. We live in Jersey and if anyone is the slightest bit irritated, its high beams and F-U horns; none so far.
If you don't like the look, thats your choice. Have fun in the dark.

No amount of aiming will fix the glare. I run upgraded halogens and supplement with a light bar if need be. I can see just fine, and more importantly, so can the caged meat missiles in the oncoming lanes.

The dust cover has nothing to do with moisture getting into your housing. Even if you left the dust cover completely off, you shouldn't be getting moisture in your housing. Assuming your bulb/seal are seated correctly.

Thats my feeling, 100%. So I came here looking for advice to remove this moisture/diagnose it. The bulb is sealed and the lens even replaced, yet the moisture came back. Letting it sit overnight in the garage you can't tell there is anything in there. When the lights are on for about 10 minutes, it starts streaming.

Same issue with mine.....did you install new dust covers with the halogens and has the moisture issue gone since then?
I'm a little confused as to why the dust cover is needed......the high beam light does not have a dust cover so why the low beam and blinker light area?....
Is it possible that the LED and HID bulbs don't generate as much heat as the halogen and are unable to evaporate the water.....
I would think that every time a bulb lights that there is moisture generated but that maybe the halogens evaporate it .......
But then all LEDs and HIDs should show some signs of water in the headlight.....
I wish I knew...

I have no clue why this has been happening. I actually haven't made the swap yet. I have to buy the new dust covers first and then see if I can get another headlight via 36k warranty. I'm not holding my breath though. It's a shame because I loved the brightness of the new lights. Keep me posted of your progress on the issue.
